Hello!

Hi, welcome to my travel blog!

In this blog, I will posting many exciting details on a few trips I have been on. The purpose of this blog is for fellow travelers to have access to information that I wish I would have known before taking these trips. I am going to exclusively share my knowledge on traveling to Canada, Switzerland, Puerto Rico and India. Stay tuned for info on where to go at each location, hotel accommodations and MANY images!

Travel Safety

On a more serious note, it is extremely important to be as safe as possible when traveling to a foreign location. The people are different and you’re in a new location so remember to stay attentive to make sure your trip is smooth sailing! Don’t be too nervous and just be very careful and you will be completely fine. Be sure to make sure of these few things though…

  1. Keep your personal items with you at all times
  2. Do not let any random person into your hotel/hostel room
  3. Be sure to know the basics of a foreign language (so that you can minimally communicate)
  4. Keep emergency contact info handy

Don’t Forget to Pack these!

When packing to go to a foreign place, it is very normal to freak out a little since you do not know what you will need and do not want to forget a single thing at home! Just stay calm and make notes on the places you plan to visit before packing and you will be good to go. I personally always do this since it is easy to forget small but necessary things when traveling. I would like to add a small list of the main necessities I need when going anywhere in attempt to helping you guys out!

  1. Phone Charger
  2. Toothbrush AND toothpaste
  3. Toiletries
  4. Sunscreen
  5. First Aid Kit
  6. Passport

Street Food

I can’t even explain how amazing the street food, also called chaat, is when you go out and about in India. I am specifically from a city called Mumbai in which you can get all the different options of North Indian chaat. From pani puri to pav bhaji, there are endless amounts of great food you can try on the streets of Mumbai. Just the thought of going shopping out in the streets and then stopping at a little stall with chaat food gets my mouth watering. Nothing beats this food and I would go back to India just for the chaat! Be careful to make sure that the stall you are going to is clean and they are using good water for it, but other than that there isn’t a single concern I have. Please DO NOT miss out on trying out this delicacy.

Powerpuff Yourself!

I made this super cute Powerpuff version of myself on this website provided to me!! Feel free to try it yourself with this link https://powerpuffyourself.com/#!/en haha it was such a cute thing to do. It kind of reminded me of a Bitmoji that you would use on Snapchat or even like a Mii that was made on the Wii (tbt to that omg). The process in creating my own version of a Powerpuff Girl was really simple actually. I was able to simply select through the different styles for each feature of the cartoon version of me. It started with the eye shape, the smile, my hair style and color, then the outfit that I chose to give myself. Then I was given a set of ten questions to answer that essentially gave my Powerpuff a personality, per se. This outfit though guys, I think it is perfect for a traveling girl. A white shirt and black overalls on top, nothing gets better than that when worn while traveling the new towns in the location you are visiting!

Promote Me!

I know this seems annoying, but if you enjoy my content and advice on traveling, please please be sure to link my website to your social media platforms. I will soon be making an Instagram account solely dedicated to my travels, but in the meantime it would be great if my website was shared across your platforms! I would prefer my blog to be shared specifically through Facebook and Instagram since those will be the social media platforms that I will be using most when I launch those accounts! I would love for my content to be shared among many people if you feel that the information I am giving everyone is beneficial. It is such a nice feeling to be able to share the many things I did on vacation and give travel tips of the locations I have been to so far. Although traveling is a personal thing, it is nice to inspire others to go and take vacations for themselves and let the world excite you by the many things it offers!

Travel Meme!

Meme found on Google

Honestly guys, this meme is way too relatable! I saw it once while browsing on Twitter and knew I HAD to share it with my travel buddies. How many times have you traveled somewhere and did not know if you’ll be able to do laundry and if you will be able to, if you will even get the chance to while being too busy?! Although this meme is all about fun and jokes, it is honestly some real advice I could give anyone traveling anywhere. You can never have too many pairs of clothes (especially underwear haha). My brother recently went on vacation to Colombia (on my list of places to travel) and I was helping him pack and he was telling me how he isn’t sure if he will even be able to do laundry. So I told him that he should just pack extra of everything!! You can never have too many clothes while traveling, but still try to pack light regardless.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

The trip I made to San Juan was many years ago, while I was still in high school, but it has to be one of the best trips I have been on. The people, food and vibe of the city was one of the greatest experiences I have had. One of the main things that stuck out to me from this trip was when my family and I visited Old San Juan, which gave us a very European vibe. The streets made of cobblestone and there were local people singing and dancing everywhere. The food was also indescribable and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Montreal, Canada

Last Summer, I took a five day trip to Montreal with a group of my friends. We spontaneously planned this vacation and booked a train and Airbnb only a two weeks before leaving. This turned out to be a great trip and much needed girl time. It was right in the middle of Summer break and was perfect timing since all of us got a much needed break from New Jersey. It was a really gorgeous place to go to and also had a lot of great nightlife that we squeezed into our busy touristy schedules.

Banff, Canada

A few weeks ago, I travelled to Banff, Canada up in the Rocky Mountains. This was a beautiful location to got to since it is extremely scenic up there. There are many opportunities to go up to the top of mountains and see a vast part of the Rocky Mountains. Going up to these locations made me feel a lot of gratitude for what the world gives us access to when we disconnect from technology. It is so gorgeous up there and I could only feel a wave of calmness going through me as I viewed the sights that our world has.
